@silverseams That was one intense read.
The fonts are pretty bland over here (just Times New Roman I think). The hilarity was legible, in any case!
!!!! NEW EMILY SHORT HALLOWEEN INTERACTIVE FICTION!!!!
RT @silverseams @AesAthena Philly loves Gritty so much, it is hilarious. The city council passed a welcoming resolution that ended "WHEREAS, Gritty may be a hideous monster, but he is our hideous monster; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Philadelphia welcomes Gritty..." (the whole thing is here http://phlcouncil.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/GrittyResolution-final.pdf and worth the read other than I don't know what went on with those fonts)
@silverseams I don't know what that is.
But I know it is made out of Nightmare Fuel. Muppet Flavored Nightmare Fuel.
Many thanks to those boosting my new scary ebook today! :) I appreciate it!
The only downside to promoting a book that starts with THE GIRLFRIEND is that you get the Avril Lavigne song stuck in your head:
(For the record, I like the Japanese version of the song better.)

@switchingsocial I stonkin' love RSS!!!!! This is a super tip!
Don't let Google News decide which stories you see, control your own news with RSS:
Also, did you know you can follow any Mastodon account through RSS?
Just add ".rss" to the end of the account's address, for example:
@silverseams I WISH TO SAY THIS ALL THE TIME
Can I just thank you folks postin' who make my feed, like, chock-full of really good, inspirational, or useful stuff? Thank you, feedpeeps. :3
RT @chengeling RT @TheFoofinator@twitter.com: Digging through my drawers when I found something from my very last illustration class I had last spring.
The first two rules are golden.
@ayhotte These are both great and also show great growth. Grood! Great and good!
Also a month-ish ago I redid an old piece and it was a cool exercise to do
User Interface Designers:
It's difficult to read things which have no focus. If it's several columns all the same width, the eye doesn't know where to start or rest.
The effect is similar to when David Bowie watches several televisions in "The Man Who Fell To Earth", i.e. incomprehensible.
Please give things a focus, make one column wider and put the most important stuff in that. It's how most people cope with seeing several things at once (e.g. varying headline sizes in newspapers).
