This is something I have been working toward, alongside many others, during my entire career at Unity.

It took a lot of "hack weeks," 20% time, and other donated time to get off the ground; it came within a hair's breadth of being terminated multiple times.
We fought to keep it alive, to get it onto the release track, to keep it from being shipped with special license restrictions.

It's great to finally see our work having a public impact.

Jason Scott just dumped the ZIL source code for every infocom game on github. Clone it before Activision's lawyers wake up. And now we see how long it takes for the internet to produce a compiler for a language that's been dead for 30+ years from a cache of production grade source code for said language. We've had compiled z-machine files, but never the original ZIL. github.com/historicalsource

GOG's forums frustrate me deeply. There's no way that I can find to get email notification of new posts/threads, and I can't pin threads with common troubleshooting steps, so I find myself replying 6 months late to threads where the solution was in the game's readme all along :/
