@fenix2412 its entirely different issue. there have been other games in wine that doesn't understand what 16 threads are :) so they go crazy and consume all of them while actually gimping the performance. taskset makes sure the game gets less cores. performance mode is just for it to run at max speed when gaming and not fluctuate between clocks.
@fenix2412 i always set the cpu to performance mode :) have my own scripts and keyboard binds for that :)

The Forest video might come at some point. Seems to work fine with Steam Play. Just consumes almost all my cores on my ryzen 7 1700X, needs taskset -c 0,2,4,6,8,10 to reduce it and actually get 60 fps instead of 40 when all cores are used. Seems to have some weird bug.

@gamingonlinux i backed this game on kickstarter and never refunded, so yeah. Its working, but i dont know how much performance deficit is there compared to windows.
