I read this thing about how #Americans use #guns metaphors way too much and it is so weird to realize it in my own lexicon. I've blocked myself a few times now from saying "let's pull the trigger on that."

But it's such a snappy phrase, haha. Any alternative phrasing suggestions? I'd love some alts!

All the #healthy #wholesome stuff I did today on my day off:
1) joined a health club (I am soooo excited for this one)
2) sent in my first kinda real 3D print design to get printed
3) bought a heat gun, nano tape bc of this insta post https://www.instagram.com/reel/CnrFH4gJ_jw/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= & waterproof sealant for my 3D print (I want to try to make it float)

I've waited over a week to post a new #3DPrint remix design to #printables and it had to go down yesterday and it's still down this morning 😭

February 6 is the day I find out if my panel's been selected to run at #C2E2. It's about #decentralization ; the movement to #DecentralizeTheInternet and I'm going thru a tough time right now so getting that would be... ugh. So amazing. Then again if I didn't get it, I'd be able to breathe as it's one less thing on my... not overful but more like very stressed... plate.

This is a win/win, right? I'm looking forward to getting the news from C2E2 about this panel no matter what.

hiii are there any #writeas communities that are open to applications right now? I closed down my #Google blogger months ago to work on #neocities and find a stripped-down indie blog/RSS space and write.as seems perfect. But the free option is unavailable and $6/month isn't affordable for me right now

#blog topics I write long-form about: #makerspace projects (3D printing, cosplay), fan conventions #c2e2, plans to twitch stream about fannish topics and tech, esp FOSS, etc.

Today's nails. Feeling those #pastel #aliens vibes. I'm obligated to watch my old standby love #xfiles when I get home tonight (after another #twitch tech rehearsal w/my friend tonight bc our last one was like... wading thru incompatible browsers & software & a/v issues with our cameras 🤪)
