Just realized what Apple Freeform reminds me of: OpenDoc. The main window feels like a big OpenDoc container. This proves that I am an old.
Starting to get some real use out of Freeform. The reliability with which it syncs across iCloud makes it really useful for, e.g. clipping some steps out a process on my MacBook in one room and consulting them on my iPhone or iPad in another room while following a step-by-step
