Our stories are crafted by humans, not algorithms.

In the last few years, technological interventions in media spaces have promoted sensationalism and proliferating and over accurate and trustworthy information. These forces limit exposure to diverse perspectives and opportunities for discovery, exchange of ideas, and the forging of human connections.

We seek to counter those forces. Please consider making a donation to our newsroom: globalvoices.org/donate/

The art exhibition at was amazing.

This is 1 of 11 rooms that was on display, titled; the ‘Mail Room’.

I loved the props, music and of course the poignant candid (natural) appearance of the young woman making her way in her new world in back in the day.

I have read an article in an outlet that I usually enjoy (The Baffler) that I disliked on the first go, actively disagreed with on the second, and now that I've thought about it, is I think one of the most pernicious and dangerous articles I've seen in public for a very long time

Three climate scientists, James Dyke, Wolfgang Knorr, and Robert Watson, say this:

"We have arrived at the painful realisation that the idea of Net Zero has licensed a recklessly cavalier 'burn now, pay later' approach which has seen carbon emissions continue to soar. It has also hastened the destruction of the natural world by increasing deforestation today, and greatly increases the risk of further devastation in the future."

Hey folks. We should all be doing a lot more boosting around here I reckon! Very few of us follow enough people for our timeline to be well populated. And a seeing boosted toots from people I follow has been a great way to find more people to follow. :bear_hugs:
