Good morning tooters. Yesterday when I was walking I came across this awesome old fallen eucalyptus tree. I love these trees, they’re so tough - they fall over but they don’t die - they send up new branches that themselves become new thick trunks. The fallen trunk of this tree takes up most of the length of the picture & new trees have grown from it.
I aspire to be this strong 💪🏼. I can’t send out new branches, but I can toughen up the limbs I have! #RiverWalk #Eucalyptus

Russian opposition leader #Navalny reportedly died today in jail.
Ever a contentious figure, #Navalny personified the courage to stand up to #Putin, representing a different choice in Russian politics.
Global Voices covered his continued resistance to Vladimir Putin’s regime, and in 2010 we were the 1st English-language outlet to publish an interview with him: https://globalvoices.org/2010/10/27/russia-blogger-alexey-navalny-on-fighting-regime/ #Russia

“Belgium is one of the Western countries that has refused to cut funding to #UNRWA.
So #Israel just bombed the office of the Belgian Agency for Development Cooperation in #Gaza.
This is a direct result of the impunity Washington has provided Israel.” https://x.com/tparsi/status/1753184596714291689?s=46&t=521hINbbUzSBIUxrCF_rbg
