In one year corporations destroyed multiple platforms many communities consider to be essential to their survival. This shows that the Internet and Web are too important to be left to for-profit enterprises.

My little instance is NOT co-operating with Facebook, META, Alphabet, AMAZON or MS ANYTHING. They have the ENTIRE rest of the Internet can we have this little space to ourselves? Do not let them take over the Fediverse. Stop them. I don't care if they make it easier or more convenient or whatever BS. It's ALWAYS a trap for the very people they are claiming to serve.
