@dave @theDanielJLewis @martin this is what I came here to say. AAA is why I so firmly believe comments should originate on a purpose built client-server system that podcast apps interact with via apis, be that ActivityPub or something else.

@dave would y’all be interested in a domain like pcns.dev or similar that could be used to provide short urls to things related to the podcast namespace? An example use would be pcns.dev/phase6chat that redirects to the very long url for discussion posts tagged with phase6 on GitHub? It’s $16.39/year on Gandi and the redirects can be managed there - no server needed. FWIW, Gandi supports granting multiple accounts access to a domain too.
