"Climate advocacy has not failed, climate policy has been sabotaged."
It's easy to think that what's stopping meaningful #ClimateAction is ignorance or selfishness of people.
But that's just not true anymore: the overwhelming majority of people want to stop the #ClimateCrisis. The problem is active sabotage of democracy by #BigOil, corporations, far right and elites.

No matter how much I read and process, I always come back to this excellent New Yorker cartoon by Tom Toro. It cuts through all the noise so well.
The message doesn't have to be more complicated than this.
A thorough investigation is sometimes frustratingly slow, but if there still was doubt about #genocide in #Gaza, after this #UN investigation that doubt is completely unfounded.

Goodness –> #politics and ethics
Beauty –> #art

Pertinent analogy:
> To try to live without using plastic now (at least in the US) is an extremely expensive endeavor, both in terms of money and and in terms of time. Plastic is so deeply integrated into so many of our systems that it is very difficult to avoid. But we are at a moment with "AI" where things aren't so deeply integrated, though corporate interests are pushing for them to be. [...] Every act of refusal is especially powerful and meaningful now.
