@mcc Fun stuff…thank you for getting this into my brain again! I don't remember V5 being a favorite of 90s-me (obsessed with everything Reznor), but present-me really appreciates it a lot.

Forgot I tried to capture the Big Dipper out the plane window on the way to Supercon.
(I think the molten-looking glow is an over-exposed Las Vegas.)

The SMD soldering challenge was such a fun and delightfully frustrating experience! Thank you, #hackadaysupercon!

May not have won a prize, but had a great time and got a special mention in the awards ceremony.

Got all LEDs blinking, called for judging to get third place…and the 0201 LED stopped working!!
Reworked it to working…5s after the countdown finished, with all the other competitors and a couple dozen folks watching on.

@anizocani any suggestions for coming back from that point? It seems far too easy to get there sometimes.

Good: I won a round of SMD soldering competition at Supercon.
Bad: I have to come back for an even harder round tomorrow.

@directhex ooh…not sure how I missed a new seasonal flavor. Thanks for the heads up. Usually the special flavors taste like liquid Pixy Stix candy to me, but I definitely need to go find the new Halloween one now.
