Do folks running Proxmox with LXC containers typically install Tailscale in each container, or do something with a local DNS resolver and Caddy or Traefik? Iād love any pointers for setups - gotta be honest, Iām struggling slightly to get things into a usable state. #homelab
@rcombs you should come to @fediforum to talk about this (and the various challenges you describe in the thread/replies)
@smeg @MastodonEngineering if you are self-hosting a single instance, not running multiple or using your Redis for something else, you should not be affected.
@index excited to see your blog federating! Now you can drop that pesky bird icon on the right hand side of the page, surely... ;-)
@otaxhu you have my attention!
@ernmander also! You might want to check out @stefan who does loads of things around building community on the Fediverse and Mastodon, in case you don't already know / follow them.
@ernmander in my experience it's just a question of engaging in conversations like these - we also have some fun chats in our Discord (for Patreon donors) on some community topics - I also look at the Lemmy groups that talk about Mastodon, and browse what folks are building via Codeberg etc.
@ernmander follow @MastodonEngineering and look out for the Trunk & Tidbits posts - I always include a Community section to spotlight what folks have been building outside of the core apps.
@ernmander same, I'm always looking for things to feature in the monthly engineering blog post š
