On the surface of the planet, Not-Roger approaches "Stinky" and says he heard he went and bought a robot detector. Stinky floats away, admitting that he did, and that it was a waste of money. Not-Roger says something in binary. Stinky floats back and asks what that was. Not-Roger says it was nothing.

On the surface of the planet, a small device on the ground is constantly repeating "ALERT! There is a robot on this planet." Ebb tells Stinky that maybe this robot detector is a little bit too sensitive.

@zoomar I also thought it was supposed to be more like a novel - that was the impression I got from the magazine article I read. (Which was a while ago, so I may not be remembering it correctly!) One of the pages online said a more "advanced" version of the program was used for the book than what they released for home use.

Going to buy a robot detector! stationv3.com/d3/20230309.html

On the surface of the planet, "Stinky" tells Not-Roger that he's thinking of buying a robot detector from Honest J!on's store. Not-Roger tells him to forget it, it's a total waste of money. The robot copy of the Director approaches Stinky and says something in binary. Stinky goes back to Not-Roger and wants to know how he's supposed to know if he sees a robot if he doesn't buy a robot detector.
