The Hendrick Motorsports Garage 56 NASCAR entry at Le Mans finished 39th overall but was quite impressive in its debut. With the talented trio of Jenson Button, Jimmie Johnson, and Mike Rockenfeller behind the wheel, the first 20 hours of the race went quite smooth. It was the final few hours where the team ran into a drive line issue, and had to spend some time in the garage making repairs.

Sergio Perez stormed to a dominant victory in the opening sprint race of F1 2023, overtaking Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
Starting from second on the grid, Perez remained behind Leclerc in the opening phase of the race which was halted by a Safety Car period due to Yuki Tsunoda.
Perez took the lead on Lap 8 of the sprint before opening up a comfortable 4.4s lead over Leclerc to take the victory.

But up at the front and claiming the win Elfyn Evans. Doing so alongside Scott Martin a man who co-drove Craig Breen to 37 WRC starts. Evans has driven all weekend with his brain, not risking too much and knowing when to push and when not too. That's been the key to success and it
marks the Welshmans 6th WRC victory.

The rally world lost one its most loved characters following the sudden death of Hyundai World Rally Championship driver Craig Breen in testing for Rally Croatia.
The 33-year-old Irishman’s career has been tragically cut short before it reached its prime. While a WRC win ultimately eluded Breen, his passion and rally knowledge was unquestionable, and his heart on the sleeve approach and quick wit made him a firm fans' favorite.

World Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi has likened the crazy nature of a MotoGP sprint race to a boxing match.
"The sprint requires a different approach, which is why it is not easy to master,” Bezzecchi said who was 11th-fastest on Friday after a costly fall.
“It's like stepping into a boxing ring. It's exhausting, but it's also a lot of fun.
“With more experience, we will better understand how to deal with the format."

The Mexican was 0.155s faster than Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who will drop 10 places to 12th once his grid penalty for using too many engine components is applied.

Fernando Alonso continued Aston Martin’s remarkable Bahrain Grand Prix weekend with fastest time in final practice. 0.005 seconds ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in the last session before qualifying.
