The Baja 1000 is a grueling race, but it is also a rewarding one. The course is beautiful and the terrain is challenging, but the sense of accomplishment that comes from finishing the race is unmatched.

All that rain from today should be dried up by that time.
However, there is another system in the pipeline with potential to crawl up here, does not have a name yet, they (NOAA) call it EP91 for now.....

Will the upcoming hurricane #Norma impact the Baja 1000 course and with that consequently also the race (as happen in the past like briefly 2019 as race officials have been forced to delay the start of the event because of inclement weather) and/or course alternations due to rain/flooding?
The race is still some time away (14th Nov.)
On the other hand wash-outs often need weeks to be repaired....
It happen several time in the past, 1976 comes to mind.

We understand tomorrow a broader info pamphlet will drop.
The reverse direction had been proposed and discussed by organizer for a while.
This will be a very expensive race, indeed!
Curious how much the BCS state had to bleed (pay) of our tax money so a very few individuals benefit from that event.
Save yourself that old "it brings money to Baja B.S." - for a select few indeed, not for the majority of folks
Prove us wrong!
We love the race not the BS
