If you are in La Paz, BCS those days until next weekend you may want to spend attention regarding various road closures in the city and suburbs in connection with the Baja 1000 desert-race which will start this year in La Paz going north to Ensenada versus the “regular” peninsula runs coming to La Paz.

Still raining and very windy in @LaPazBCS It looks like an huge JDAM bomb was dropped passing the malecon.
Trees down everywhere. Tailhunters entire facade is down. Boats and mourning washed up on malecon.
Many business have serious damage.
The army is patrolling.

The NHC bulletin said Norma was continuing to lose strength. However, the slow speed of the weather system - 8km/h (five miles an hour) - was expected to bolster the amount of rainfall over land.
