Excellent day out yesterday climbing Beinn Each with friend. Insane wind at top, all the weather types. Climbed back via an interesting gully. No one else seen all day. #hillwalking #scotland

@DismalManorGang Yes, the doggos (and most owners) were fine. The usual, "Hi", "Thanks", "Cheers" etc as I'm passing. Just a few people seemingly upset at having to share the roads or bike paths with a bike. i always just say "Hi" when I approach (slowly) as it's non-confrontational while letting them know I'm there, but they still seem to get upset.
Good ride on Saturday. Surprisingly warm. A lot of climbing. Making most of the short days. Tested out a new light once it got dark on way home. Several grumpy dog walkers near the car parks, not wanting to share the paths. No idea why, it's usually not an issue. #biking #pentlands
Took train south. It broke down. An hour later than planned started ride back home. Nice all day except over the highest hill, in the dark, a storm hit and I had to push. Good training for Strathpuffer! Rode some of the lower trails at Glentress on the way. Had a great pub lunch! #cycling #scotland
