Rode the Dirty Reiver 200 down at Kielder on Sat. Very tough first 65k and then 2 largest climbs near the end! Pretty happy with time though. Think might be personal best. Perfect weather turned up as well! #dirtyreiver
Arrgg...swapping out a rusted up bottom bracket bearing, I've cracked the bearing cup. Guess this bike is out of action for a wee bit. Was going to use it for an event at the weekend. A good opportunity to remind my partner that this is why having multiple bikes is a good idea 😆 #mountainbiking
Went on a wee canoe trip early in the week. Weather was terrible. Bit of a sketchy moment in a sudden squall. Lovely when the rain stopped. Stopped to brew up some hot coffee. #canoe
Nice start to the ride yesterday, but it turned very wet and cold. Lots of hail and sleet. Then my chain snapped. Had a chain breaker and spare quick links so it was fine. I was pretty frozen by the time I got back home! 😆 #mountainbiking
@NilaJones @wav3ydave yeah. Only carry an all-in-one bike took. But yes an adjustable spanner would probably do the job.

On a cycle and again the gates are 'locked' by obfuscation on the Bavelaw estate. This happened a lot before. The bolt has been tightened so much the lock is immovable. On the second pedestrian gate they have added 2 hidden bolts to the hinge so it can't be opened! #landaccess #scotland #pentlands
