Nora dissipates but heavy rains and moisture from its remnants will continue to spread northward and north-northwestward during the next couple of days.
Swells generated by the remnants of Nora are affecting the southwestern coast of Mexico and will spread northward into the Gulf of California through today.

Nora is moving toward the north-northwest near 17 km/h (10 mph), and this motion is expected to continue through the weekend.
On the forecast track, Nora is expected to approach and move into the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez) on Sunday and Monday.
As Nora continues north-northwest, heavy rainfall will move into the Baja California Sur late Sunday into Monday.

Nora will then approach the southern portion of Baja California Sur on Sunday.
