Verstappen fastest in first practice
By just 0.034 seconds, Max Verstappen leads the way in first practice in Abu Dhabi.
Valtteri Bottas is second, then comes Esteban Ocon, Alexander Albon, Lewis Hamilton, Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, Daniil Kvyat, Pierre Gasly and Kimi Raikkonen.

Sergio Perez is a race winner finally, and his drive to victory in the Sakhir Grand Prix could be no better advert for a driver currently out of a job at the end of the year.
The Mexican is performing at the top of his game right now and Red Bull, the only possible destination for him in 2021, cannot ignore this as they weigh up who should partner Max Verstappen next year.

Leclerc and Verstappen are both out. Leclerc dives down the inside of Pérez, that takes Leclerc out.
Verstappen trying to avoid the incident runs wide and he then slides into the wall as well. Pérez still in the race but last. What a start!
George Russell has stretched the lead to 2.2 seconds. He has not scored a championship point in this his 37th race, he leads the way.

Valtteri Bottas edged Mercedes new boy George Russell to pole position at the Sakhir Grand Prix.
The Finn was just 0.026 seconds quicker than Russell, driving for Mercedes for the first time as a stand-in for Lewis Hamilton, who has coronavirus.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen was just 0.03secs behind Russell in third place.
And there was a superb performance from Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who took fourth, less than 0.3secs from pole, with team-mate Sebastian Vettel 13th.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen set the pace in final practice at the Sakhir Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton’s stand-in George Russell only seventh.
Verstappen, who also topped final practice at the Bahrain Grand Prix last weekend on a different layout of the same track, was 0.206 seconds clear of Valtteri Bottas.
Russell, who was fastest in both practice sessions on Friday, was 0.394secs slower than his Mercedes team-mate.

Lewis Hamilton took his 10th pole position of the season at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Hamilton, who clinched a seventh title in Turkey two weeks ago, was a comfortable 0.289 seconds clear of Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who looked a threat to Mercedes through practice, fell back to his customary third.
Red Bull's Alexander Albon recovered from a heavy crash on Friday to take fourth.
