BS statement on top by officials!
No further action on Hamilton for the alleged double waved yellows - "on-board video clearly shows there was no yellow flag displayed, no yellow lights were displayed to that driver and the yellow warning light was not visible on the driver’s steering wheel."
Just imagine a "less famous" driver would have done that!

Hamilton wins the Qatar GP.
It's back-to-back wins for Hamilton to keep his title hopes alive.
After a five-place grid-drop wrecked any chance of a Verstappen victory, it was all about damage limitation for him and he finishes second.
He also gets the fastest lap bonus point, so Verstappen leads the title race by eight points with two races to go.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen set the pace throughout first practice at the inaugural Qatar Grand Prix.
Mercedes drivers Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were next up for most of the session until Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly took second place late on.
Gasly was 0.437 seconds slower than Verstappen and 0.034secs ahead of Bottas, with Hamilton fourth quickest 0.786secs off the pace.

Max Verstappen ends the race in second place, with Hamilton's team-mate Valtteri Bottas in third position.

Lewis Hamilton romped to pole position for the 'sprint' qualifying race at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix ahead of title rival Max Verstappen's Red Bull.
The seven-time champion, who has a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's grand prix, was untouchable over one lap, 0.438 seconds quicker than Verstappen.
However, Hamilton's car was later referred to the stewards for an alleged technical infringement on its rear wing.

Formula 1 makes a belated comeback to Sao Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend, the 19th round of the 2021 season.
Brazil will also host the third and final sprint race weekend on the 2021 F1 calendar, with the weekend format being shaken-up by the trial.

Verstappen wins the Mexico City Grand Prix!!!
Race win number 19 and number nine of the season for Max Verstappen.
First lap bravery saw him jump from third to first and then perfection from then on.
Hamilton clings on to second position from Perez. Superb driving under pressure from the seven-time world champion.

Still about 2/3rd of race to run.
Strain on car and driver (high altitute / thinner air) may show later on in race.

Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin crashed heavy 4 minutes into Q1 - He is ok, car looks like in need of some work.
Only seven drivers have put a lap in, with 11 minutes to go that is going to be interesting.
Marshalls are still clearing the track

Saturday morning saw the final session before qualifying and the majority of the teams seemed reluctant to head out on the track. Checo was the first Bull out on the track and gave the fans exactly what they wanted to see by putting his RB16B in P1. His time of 1:17.024 was unbeatable and he was able to do that in 15 laps.

Sergio Perez was so close to a maiden pole position but it wasn't meant to be.
The Mexican will start in third place.
Verstappen takes pole, Lewis Hamilton will start alongside him!
Valtteri Bottas finished fourth and will start ninth. Charles Leclerc will move up and take Bottas' spot.
