Red Bull's Sergio Perez continued his strong form with the fastest time in Azerbaijan Grand Prix first practice.
Perez, who won the last race in Monaco, was 0.127 seconds faster than Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, with the second Red Bull of Max Verstappen third.
Verstappen leads Leclerc by nine points in the drivers' championship and Mexican Perez a further six adrift.
Ferrari's Carlos Sainz was fourth, ahead of Alpine's Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes.

Charles Leclerc took pole position for his home race after a chaotic end to qualifying at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver, dominant throughout, ended 0.225 seconds clear of team-mate Carlos Sainz.
Leclerc was on an even quicker lap at the end before Red Bull's Sergio Perez crashed at Portier, was collected by Sainz and the session was stopped

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc set an impressive pace to top Friday practice at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Leclerc was 0.044 seconds quicker than team-mate Carlos Sainz, with Red Bull's Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen third and fourth more than 0.3secs behind.
George Russell was sixth for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton only 12th.

What a race, what a recovery from Verstappen after skating off through the gravel.
Wheel to wheel fights with Russell, strategy ploys and DRS issues made it exciting, but in the end he was able to coast home and pick up the points.
Fastest lap of the day and an extra point on the board goes to Sergio Perez.

The Mexican was 0.261 seconds quicker than world champion team-mate Max Verstappen, who was down in fourth.
Having traded times throughout practice, Leclerc and Red Bull rival Max Verstappen went head-to-head for top spot in qualifying, with the Monegasque coming out on top.
