#idea for passing #government #deficit reduction laws while appeasing conservative and liberal parties.
Law: liberals cut X dollars to social/cultural/environmental program. Conservatives cut X dollars to military/religious/conservative programs or increase X dollars in taxes
Both sides suffer equally, debt gets reduced

Dear #NASA and #ESA, in the images you use, please require all artist-created images to be clearly labeled as such. I'm tired of thinking I'm seeing photos, only to realize its art. I thought I saw a photo of a black hole decades ago. Only when they can out with the first actual photo, did I realize it was art. NASA and ESA often distribute this type of art and its difficult to verify if its real or not.
Example.

Why do people check #corn for quality? They open them up and reject them if a tiny part is under-developed. Usually less than 10% and can just be cut off. An ear of corn costs around 0.25$US. That's pretty cheap, yet all that rejected corn is wasted. Usually tossed in the trash. #Foodwaste #Food #trash
Description of details in images from the James Web Telescope. Some are obvious but still interesting.

Looks like #china disappeared an internet celeb for having a cake in the vauge shape of a tank on Tiananmen Square Massacre's anniversary. No words of protest or even mention on Tiananmen, just a cake.

I've been reading a lot of #gamelit #litRPG and been seeing more new articles popping up about #AugmentedReality. So read up on the status of them. I expected to find semi-practical goggles and some sort of collective #AR universe that people could view and add to, like in many books. All ARs seem very localized, application specific and/or designed for phones only. Eyewear mostly too bulky or limited display capability. Really disappointing, i guess I'll have to wait another decade
