I’m still reading my #Twitter feed for now (at least sometimes). I have never seen more system failures with that platform as I have seen in the last few weeks. Tonight, it wouldn’t even load my timeline. Happy to have moved my activity here.

I have great sympathy for (and some simpatico with) Veterinarians trying to diagnose a tricky illness in their patient. The pet can’t tell them what is wrong directly and they often have to work with incomplete information (because ordering expensive tests off the bat is not usually favoured by the fur parents). Fifth vet visit in 5 days for us; we’re going to hospitalize overnight to jump start the inconsistent recovery.

Hear me out. If you make your own cranberry sauce from fresh berries (and I do so I can control the sweetener), another use for leftover sauce is to make cranberry ginger ale.

I am pretty happy that I have no reason to go to a #COVID & Flu Distribution Centre (indoor mall) today.

There is a conundrum when you see a community you participate in take a bad turn. Do you dig in and work for the change that’s needed to right the ship or do you get out completely because the place is no longer one with which you wish to be associated?
The problem with #Twitter is that it is no longer a community, it’s a dictatorship. You can only depose dictators, not get them to change. So while I would normally take the path of trying to fix what’s broken, that won’t work this time.
