If you need an auto body shop in #yyc, I have had great success with Carstar McKnight. My 2006 Corolla hasn’t looked this good in a decade.
Just finished watching the season opener for Pretty Hard Cases. All the things I love about this show wrapped into one episode. It also did a masterful job of reminding us about the dynamics amongst all the players without having to do a recap off the top.
TFW your 1.5 year old dog’s diagnosis of IBD is confirmed. Strangely, there is some relief in that knowledge.
My Friday morning revelation: when I write blog posts for #MacAdmins, my style is heavily influenced by the print and online publications from the 1990s and 2000s, particularly TidBITS. There is always something about the journey I took in what I write (see today’s article from Adam Engst for a prime example: https://tidbits.com/2023/01/05/use-live-text-to-digitize-your-cookbooks/).
Woohoo! I’ve got @ivory baby! Looking forward to testing all the things.
@cdenesha It exists, but I haven’t got around to posting a link. Try feed://maclabs.jazzace.ca/feed.xml (or https://…).
In the sequel to the #MacAdmins post I wrote about using #AutoPkg to deliver payloads for #outset, I discuss:
• using what Outset calls a Login-Once Override to force Outset to run an updated item on next login, and
• adding a postinstall script to your AutoPkg recipe so that you have a compact, all-in-one solution.
Here’s a #COVID19AB not-so-fun fact: with 12 days yet to report, 2022 had 279 days where the daily hospitalization count was over 800 people. In 2021, it was 52; in 2020, it was 12 (the last 12 days of the year).
279 - 52 - 12. Tell me again that COVID is over.
My last #MacAdmins blog post of the year is a deep dive into how I use an AutoPkg recipe to package up scripts that I want Outset to run (for example, to set a default configuration for the users in my computer labs):

I’m still reading my #Twitter feed for now (at least sometimes). I have never seen more system failures with that platform as I have seen in the last few weeks. Tonight, it wouldn’t even load my timeline. Happy to have moved my activity here.
