In looking at the communities that have migrated to Mastodon in my feed, the tech-centric have been the early adopters. Other groups have been slow: public health, politics, academia, sports.
I’m quite enjoying the vibe here. A couple of my high-volume retweeters have not migrated, so the pace of my feed reminds me more of early Twitter. But since I always used an ad-free client on Twitter, I’m never going back there. I’m hoping more will make the move over time.
