My #FlyingAgain experience has been consistent. Airports have done the work to have good ventilation — CO2 levels reliably below 800 ppm. The airlines have still not solved the ventilation issue when boarding and disembarking. Prior to pushback, today’s flight is at 28°C and 2700 ppm CO2. #covid19
#FlyingAgain for the first time in 3.5 years and not for a vacation. I’ll be taking note of air quality during my journey with my trusted Aranet4. So far so good for #yycAirport; CO2 levels are mostly in the 600s. The highest was near boarding for a flight with a high school tour group: 873 ppm. It’s early, so there are plenty of lightly-occupied places.
(Don’t want to read all the #COVID19 #AirQuality goodness today? Mute #FlyingAgain.)
I had forgotten that I get travel anxiety leading up to a trip. (First time travelling in 3.5 years and it is not for pleasure.)
