I feel some of my own experiences echoed here. Damon has good perception. "Tastemaker" isn't a word I've come across before, but it reflects and sums up something that I find deeply unhealthy about how contemporary culture prioritises discourse over individual taste/experience, particularly for games

@timkrief Here's that Inkscape thread I mentioned during your stream https://mastodon.social/@Cheeseness/104114343488626276
@ChrisWere No probs! Hope it does what you need
@ChrisWere This might help. Not intuitive at all, but simple enough

I've just discovered a large unexpected expense that is complicating my financial situation. If you were considering purchasing #HiveTime, now would be a great time <3 https://cheeseness.itch.io/hive-time

I just went to check my laundry and without thinking started dancing with my washing machine (it's on the last spin cycle and was wobbling around a bunch). Living alone is rad.
@cidney My Escoria game was The Farrier (made in collaboration with @flesk and @kednar ). It's got some rough edges, and I'd like to find time to implement a log and endless cycling of jobs (both of which are aimed at making the language learning mechanic more discoverable) before putting builds on Itch.
If wishes were horseflies, I'd love to develop this into a full game with traditional point and click bits in between work sessions, but it's hard to justify right now.
@cidney Yeah, it doesn't really look like the issue list has been maintained very well. The manual was already well out of date when I started using Escoria, so I've never really given it any attention (but I was also collaborating with flesk at the time, who has been a contributor and was a good resource for finding stuff out).
The 3.2 version of the demo project seems to run for me FWIW.

Foregoing my morning walk to watch this The Tick reunion thing. I love these characters/universes https://twitter.com/ben_edlund/status/1326021468283568128
A little late for #screenshotsaturday, but I added an option to disable bee wing transparency to #HiveTime yesterday. Fingers crossed that it'll help with performance on lower end systems when this patch goes out #gamedev #indiedev
@cidney Gotcha.
I had a quick look yesterday and there are commits that make it behave with Godot 3.2.3 (so there may not be any work left to do on that front), but the docs folder hadn't received a commit in 2 years. Not sure if any behaviour has changed in the past two years though.
