Pro of big, long road trip: seeing new places and meeting friends

Con of big, long road trip: harder to give the excuse that something in town is “a little too far to drive out today” when they know you blasted 1,300 miles in a single day.

I drove from DC to my house today. It was definitely a 20+ hour drive.

Now that I know it’s possible I shall never do it again.
