@effika I have been having a long discussion with my friends about the band.
I, personally, felt like that landed...not great. Of all the weird shit in that show, the band seemed like the most un-plausible thing. It's the closest Severance has gotten to “oh this is just some LOST shit." Just a random ass thing that when I start thinking about the logistics it doesn't feel good.
Remember when we all joked that Monica's apartment was huge and unobtainable (yeah yeah, rent control it was her grandmother's or whatever)? It was in New York! Things are expensive there!
Now when I see a film trailer where a youngish couple lives in a home with a garage, I'm like, “They can't afford that shit.”

It's 2025 and #MicrosoftTeams has been around for, what, 8 years or so?
Yet we still don't get any visual indication if the app is picking up your own mic. It'll highlight OTHER people when they talk, but not your icon to you when you talk.
So if you have a squeaky chair or some other thing in the room that might be picked up on your mic, you'll never know. Handy!

That’s me. I never watched Star Trek as a youth and am seeing it all for the first time.
These extra shows I get are just a bonus.
So on my work laptop I was using #Edge because it was on the computer (and who cares). I don't intrinsically hate Edge like some people. It's just another Chromium wrapper.
But then I noticed this laptop spinning up the fans all the time, and Edge was increasingly becoming sluggish. I guess there's some memory leak or something because the moment I went to another browser that stopped, and this laptop hasn't really spun up the fans that hard.
Oh well.
