If you want to run Movetodon or another of the "find your follows" services, your time is running out.
@frode Hey Frode! Drop me an email at griffey at niso.org, we'll get you in the conference.
A month from now, I'm spending my birthday in NYC and get to choose what to see re: Broadway and theater. Already have tickets for the Sweeney Todd revival.
What other show MUST I see? I saw the Parade revival when it was at City Center, and it was so good I'm tempted to just see it again. What's playing that would push it out of contention?
I realize some of the things I'm missing from Twitter are hobby-related..where's all the good Theater/Broadway mastodon accounts?
Turns out the best way to get me to do something is to suggest that you might do it yourself, except wrong.
*sigh*
I'm such a sucker.
This is a first...had a meeting that was cancelled. Got an alert that a participant had joined the room, so I logged in to let them know it was rescheduled...only to find that it's someone's AI meeting assistant.
My entire household is fighting off a non-covid, non-flu virus of some sort. Hardly seems fair.
@xor I was lucky enough to see the limited run at NY City Center, and it was immediately in my top 3 shows of all time. Terrifying and beautiful and moving. Fingers crossed for you!
If you're in or near NYC, I cannot express the degree to which you shouldn't miss this show. One of the most moving experiences I've ever had watching theater, just an amazing show.
