Cheating a bit this week and posting a mix instead of a single start-to-finish track. I gave this one a relisten after a long break, and thankfully it stands up well.
Synchronicity would probably be the stand-alone track from here if i had to pick - you can never go wrong with Melllow Sonic; this one's a lesser-heard but beautiful tune.
Ended up spending more time than I meant to on the stream set, but it's sounding a lot more complete now (and a lot longer, I think).
Almost sure to be happening this Sunday at the 'usual' time - will confirm on Saturday though, just to be on the safe side.
@PecheyTheLizard I saw your order come through earlier on big cartel, no worries about that at all (and thanks!). No need for extra for shipping but there have been delays with deliveries to the US lately - I'll drop you an email later today with some extra info.
@Sherkel That one especially! It did arrive though, sorry about the delay - will get back to you asap.
I won't be spending too much longer on the stream set, what with so much else to be doing at the moment, but I'm planning to switch out a last couple of tracks before recording.
Signs are that next weekend is doable, but let's not be announcing things before we have a definite, this time.
@Sherkel With the current WIP having 'horse' in the title you're not far wrong. Almost certain to happen this coming weekend, at least!
Oh dear - looks like I spoke to soon this time, and tonight's stream will have to be postponed.
The tracklist is basically decided, so it's just a case of finding a time slot for it. Time differences for a lot of the regulars mean that a midweek set doesn't make much sense, instead I'll aim for...sometime next weekend.
Currently the set's on the shorter side, but a little extra time could help with that too. Watch this space, then, and apologies for the false alarm.
Right, TYFTH Live 011 will be happening this weekend on Sunday evening (19:00 JST).
175bpm+ dark/psychedelic freeform this time, with some of the usual suspects as well as the first UK freeform(!) track for six years or so.
I'm enjoying using these sets to experiment a bit, so I'll see what else I can come up with in the next couple of days.
Far too many things going on at once right now, but I'm aiming to keep up the habit of at least some production time every day - the current track's showing some promise.
For now I'll pin the Cyhyraeth preview up top until there's something to take its place. It probably does as good a job as anything as a self-introduction, too.
It's looking promising for another TYFTH (semi) Live this weekend.
It'll be freeform again this time, with a few new tracks and a couple of old favourite (but reworked) transitions. There's still some work ahead to put things into order though, so I'll try to confirm one way or the other by the end of tomorrow.
Will be away in Kyoto this week, so some of the things on the TYFTH to-do list (mix timestamps, I know) will have to wait for now.
Lots of plans for when I get back though, and there's another TYFTH Live (lightly) pencilled in for the weekend after next.
Exemia's just released a dmg version of Gunvein's opening stage music. Using two Game Boys, there's some real LSDJ wizardry going on here. Thanks to Dyzphazia for the initial heads-up.
The start-to-finish track can't be anything else this week. Alek's best freeform for 10 years or so?

Recently unearthed another Full Circle DJs PA from 2008 - checking around for more at the moment, but it'll likely be up on YT before long, either way.
If you lean more towards good-to-excellent jazzy jungle tracks, check out Subjects' superbly named Pipe and Slippers, recently released on Deep Jungle. Surely one of the most authentically jazzy jungle tracks of all time: https://deepjungle.bandcamp.com/track/pipe-slippers
Quietly collecting up the material for some jungle sets at the moment - Promised Land 3 is pretty focused on good-to-average jazzy tracks, but the 'collector's CD' alone was worth it in the end for Skanna - Heaven and two Crystl classics.
Talking of Crystl, I managed to get the limited edition of his early-90s back catalogue (plus plenty of nice extras) at the end of last year. The plans are for a 93-94 set at some point and that'll be very Crystl-heavy.
Away from freeform, I was at the National Museum nice and early yesterday to see 長谷川等伯/Hasegawa Tōhaku's Pine Trees. Had the National Treasure room to myself for much of the time, so it was worth the years-long wait to see it in person.
As I'm currently babysitting a to-scale model of a Jōmon period pot (long story), I also stopped by the lovely archaeology section to see the real thing.
TYFTH Live is now up on YT and soundcloud. I haven't forgotten about timestamps for the video, but a bit pressed for time at the moment - they'll be added in the next day or so.

@RebalLance @Sherkel I'm glad you could join and enjoyed it! There'll be a tracklist on YT and soundcloud, today or tomorrow. I have to check a couple of the track titles first!
