I've wanted to use it in about 3 or 4 different sets and it never quite works out. Will keep trying!
@Sherkel I didn't want to share too much at once the other day, but I'll add a few soon! I haven't finished looking through myself, but while there's a lot of what you'd probably expect there's plenty I'm seeing for the first time.
Well, the response to the last couple of TYFTH Lives means that I'll keep them NRG/freeform for the time being. I've been thinking over a few ideas this week, while chipping away at the current WIP track (which is getting there, but 'there' is still a long way off).

I've been listening to Shoko.F's 'I'm Normal Technomania' mix for the first time in too long. Sadly it's nowhere to be seen on YT and the like, but it's one of *the* models for how to tell a story in a harder set.
This week I received a great gift - the Japanese edition of this collection of dark art over the centuries. You can see from the intro that it's going to be a winner:
While I think about it, sadly I've had to start charging postage on In Praise of Shadows orders from outside Japan. Postage costs have gone up here, and non-Japanese orders aren't really doable at that price any more.
It's been lovely to see the album finding some new listeners lately - depending on demand there might be some chance of it being sent out from places other than Japan in the future, too.
I'm back from the latest trip, so the plan for this weekend is to catch up on TYFTH things, and learn how to mix hard techno in prep for another stream. Production is falling behind again these days so I'd better get back on the case with that, too.
There are some other plans in the works to stream freeform more regularly, but it's going to need some improvement to the setup first - have to get the audio interface situation sorted before anything else.
@Sherkel That's the one! It seemed interesting but didn't grab me enough to keep going. Definitely going to look into Drakkhen sometime soon.

Belated thanks to everyone who joined in for last night's stream - was a treat to see so many Horsers in there. Big thanks to Shimo and the fairy ravers for the raid too, of course.
The set will likely be up tomorrow on YT and SC with tracklist info etc, but in the meantime it's on twitch as a highlight.
@Sherkel Lovely, thanks for sharing, especially as I never played it. It reminds me that I did make a start on the semi-sequel a year or two back...
Taking a quick break from the set prep to confirm that TYFTH Live 011 will be happening tomorrow (25th) from 19:00 JST.
There's way more going on in the set this time around (using 3 decks here and there), which'll hopefully make up for the false start last week. It's still freeform on the psychedelic side, and pretty dark, even if I'm saving some recent tracks (you know the ones) for the FINRG set.
Cheating a bit this week and posting a mix instead of a single start-to-finish track. I gave this one a relisten after a long break, and thankfully it stands up well.
Synchronicity would probably be the stand-alone track from here if i had to pick - you can never go wrong with Melllow Sonic; this one's a lesser-heard but beautiful tune.
Ended up spending more time than I meant to on the stream set, but it's sounding a lot more complete now (and a lot longer, I think).
Almost sure to be happening this Sunday at the 'usual' time - will confirm on Saturday though, just to be on the safe side.
@PecheyTheLizard I saw your order come through earlier on big cartel, no worries about that at all (and thanks!). No need for extra for shipping but there have been delays with deliveries to the US lately - I'll drop you an email later today with some extra info.
