Chilly -12 degree commute today. Dressed properly and rode on winter tires so it was lovely. It’s weird how much slower riding in subzero temps is. Pedalling feels so much harder. #biketooter
I only discovered this duet of Joe Flaherty and Dave Foley parodying Bing Crosby and David Bowie a few years back but every year I'm delighted anew to be reminded of it this time of year. They both can actually sing!
When I did charity bike rides, I was SO motivated by people cheering from the roadside. Now I don't do them but when I'm on Zwift, even the cheering bots make me happy - as do real "ride ons" from humans. I think the flip side of this is why I get so wrecked by negative social media comments.
