Stickers! At #teardown2025 @clomads and I coerced a bunch of people into buying a $10 thermal label printer, and now I have a repo up for the sticker designs I was giving out, plus tips and tricks for using the printer, plus links to fun holographic and glittery sticker stock. Thanks to Chloe for enabling me with the printer in the first place! Enjoy! https://github.com/AlpenglowIndustries/Stickers
I just added the slides to my talk repo, there are many links to battery regulations and test reports, etc in the readme. The slides that overlaid images on clicking downloaded in a flattened jumble, sorry about that. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out! https://github.com/AlpenglowIndustries/Teardown2025BatteryTalk
Still coming down from the high and recovering from
@crowdsupply #teardown2025! It's the best hacker con, so many cool things but it's the amazing people that make it so great. Thanks to
@helenleigh and the entire Crowd Supply team for making it so welcoming & inclusive.
I had a great time @crowdsupply #teardown2025 . Thanks to everyone who told me you liked my battery talk or panel words of DEFINITELY NOT ADVICE 😜. I can’t believe it’s already over! I was terrible at taking pictures except for these - faces from Sat night that turned into stickers.
It Never Rains on Coin Cells is up @crowdsupply #teardown2025 ! It’s an explanatory and interactive exhibit - there’s interesting wiring on the raindrops using 4-pin pebble-style LED strands with a data return wire, and there are instructions for how to change the pattern playlist. It uses a @wizard Pixelblaze Pico and our Tentacle Buddy, Tentacle Breakout, & Coin Cell Power boards.
In Portland for #teardown2025 ! It was a nice flight up, pics out the airplane window are of the coast near SLO. Wow do I love the public transit here. $2.80 for the Max Red line from the airport to the hotel, and only 30 mins (vs 21 mins and who know what for a Lyft).
