Is this ironic, or did the tshirt designers really not pick up the errors in this?? It'd be a great gift for a not-too-observant someone who thinks they're always right and you want their t-shirt to prove otherwise

@leahmac @lindawoodrow Yes, and they make lovely thoughtful gifts. Knitted dishcloths connect me to days when life’s pace was slower and people spent more time connecting with other people over daily chores.
People who walk with chronic pain by your side every moment of every day, I solemnly salute you. The way you keep going day after day, you have been wearing that coat of smiles and patience so long it has become a part of the fibres of your character, and the effect is more beauty than my heart can hold. #ChronicPain #pain
When I was growing up in suburban #Australia, the way we knew tv shows were American soapies (soap opera), even before the sound was on, was the soft lens effect seen nowhere else at the time.
These days that effect is a dead giveaway in many #AI generated images. I assume that soft, hazy, Hallmarkesque effect wasn’t specifically written into the prompt, so it seems to be the default. IP theft aside, glowy images cause such a visceral response in me I rarely click on articles using them.
Daily notes are notes you write on the days you feel like writing them. Whether your notes are in separate files or an #OBTF, the important thing is that you keep on writing and learning from them.

I don’t know how to code (yet), but I do know how to read! And this book https://books.apple.com/au/book/python-for-beginners-a-practical-and-step-by-step/id6449404731 is calling my name.

I had a cup of not-coffee yesterday, from a coffee machine! First time. Nice.
It worked great, @dhry. I used those stick on foil tops to reuse a spent pod and it was nice and firmly attached. I'm wondering if the stainless steel pods might not cause a problem, as some people suggest, by virtue of their increased weight putting strain on the motor of the machine.
I've just scheduled next week's newsletter and was given a confirmation of the date it will be published, written in a format I struggle to find words to describe. Stupid, confusing, and insane come to mind.
Please, please, US based UX people, write it in full or use the international yyyy-mm-dd standard!!
FYI the perpetrator of this crime against the calendar was Kit (formerly Convertkit). They're great at everything else.
I made 4 of these calendars as gifts. It’s called the Continuous Calendar and I love love love the flow of it! 10 weeks on display at all times. Pull the next page through every 5 weeks, secure excess paper front and back with the giant pen holder paper clips.
You may already know that year-month-day is the only date format that makes sense in the digital world, but did you know that yyyy and YYYY aren't the same thing? Read more in this week’s PTPL:

Currently reading the 1920 dystopian novel We, by Yevgeny Zamyatin. Shades of Brave New World and 1984; maybe Orwell and Huxley were directly influenced by it? I can see why it was banned in Russia!
Oh the cuteness of tiny Christmas puddings the size of a large marble! These were fun to make

Endings are beginnings. What might happen if you created the day in your head or on paper before the sun gets up, then slept on it?
