I hope to see many of you at #rubyconf in Chicago next week.

Chime is a sponsor, not just of the conference as a whole, but also of the scholarship program.

We have a sponsor session, and members of Chime's "I Heart Ruby" team will talk about how we support our Ruby devs.

I'm trying to expand the example in https://noelrappin.com/blog/2024/08/what-about-static-typing-in-ruby/ a bit for my upcoming RubyConf workshop...

And I'm realizing that almost anything I do to add even a tiny bit of logic to it will cause it to fail before it gets to the end -- almost anything I do will want to use a User object and if the incoming type is wrong that’s likely to fast-fail sort of incidentally.

Need to rework the example a bit, I think.

Anybody else seeing an issue in recent versions of Bundler where doing an update causes the lockfile entry for public gems to incorrectly move to a private source?
