This has nothing to do with anything, but I just watched a “Columbo” rerun where the murderer was caught because he didn’t think to remove the ribbon cartridge which documented a letter his victim had typed exposing him. He was unfamiliar with the “new” technology.

Their impact on cartoons, television, and culture was indeed profound.
