Don't mean to self-promote or anything, but I'd love to get any feedback on an animation I just finished a couple of days ago! It's only 7 seconds long, but hope people enjoy it nonetheless!
You know you want them.

I'm soliciting thoughts on a chatroom. There already is an #animation room on #Element and I think that would work.
The room can be found here: https://matrix.to/#/!GDqryvHvlKiULHCmPp:matrix.org?via=matrix.org
It has an animation focus and I think it could serve as a companion to Socel.
Please vote and/or reply with your thoughts.
Rebooting She-Ra
"...how do we frame Stevenson’s She-Ra in relation to the Filmation series? As a remake? Reboot? Adaptation?"
Well, that was interesting. If you've already seen Studio Trigger's other works (and even Gurren Lagann) there will be few surprises stylistically, or otherwise.
My gut reaction is that for a debut feature, Trigger is struggling with creating a concise story that fits into the allotted time. Promare feels like a highly condensed series that is heavy on the action and light on the story and characters.
This is driven home by the story pacing which is episodic.
