American Anime Pioneer, Astro Boy Anime Producer Fred Ladd Passes Away at 94
"Ladd was instrumental in introducing anime to North America. In 1963, Ladd re-edited and re-dubbed the Tetsuwan Atom anime, based on Osamu Tezuka's manga, into Astro Boy."
Roy Disney spent time in the US Navy just after World War I. You don't often hear about this, so this makes for interesting reading.
