Managed to catch most of 'The Polar Express' last night which I had not seen before.
The CGI has aged terribly of course, but the story was surprisingly good! I can see why it's a perennial favourite.

I happened to catch a new episode of The Simpsons for the first time in years and it's still somewhat shocking to see how different it is from its heyday. It's like they mined the characters as deep as they could and can't go any deeper.
That being said, compared to the show that came immediately after, it's still superior in every way.
