In related news, I'm trying so hard to finish #Disenchantment but it has turned into a real slog of a show.
John DiMaggio didn’t get raise in Futurama standoff; show planned to replace him with weekly guest stars
@tuatarara@mastodon.art I know Digital Ocean has a one-click Mastodon droplet available. For my personal server, I went with #yunohost and haven't had any problems.
Of all the programs that you would think would cause my PC to crash, Windows' 'Snip & Sketch' should be nowhere near the top and yet....
"I do miss the glory days of blogging where we would share our thoughts and interests and photos of our lives and share our latest drawing (or our kids' drawings) and have a nice back-n-forth with people commenting, sharing their own stories, connecting and reconnecting. The connecting is vastly different now. But here, this is where it all began: a lowly blog, with a few words accompanied by a photo or drawing or two. I'd like to do this again."

IS the Washowski's version of Speed Racer as bad as it's supposed to be? I've been sitting on it for years but have never checked it out.
I shouldn't laugh, I really shouldn't but this is just too funny.

Seth Green Just Literally Had His Cartoon Idea Stolen From Him
"Then, days before he had planned to formally announce the show, his computer was hacked and his ape was stolen.... in the current unregulated, lawless world of NFTs, thievery is not a technicality. Whoever has the ape owns the ape, period. Green can’t do this show anymore!"

When it comes to #anime and #manga, for a certain series that is available in both forms, do you consume both forms or stick to one or the other?
E.g. If I read a manga first, I DON'T watch the anime, but if I see an anime, I will sometimes check out the manga too.

I don't so much opine on what's been shown so far as I do on what the adult themes could mean for the character. There's a lot of questions that need to be answered.

Here's a bookmark for you: The Animation History Bibliography
Orrin Scott has compiled a list of animation-related books [in English] and is making it available for everyone here: https://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/the-animation-history-bibliography/
He's also looking for contributions, so if you have any books that you don't see listed, please add them!
Boosts appreciated too :boost_ok:
