@bryan @BenRossTransit Tariffs need to be applied strategically, carefully, incrementally... to allow our industrial base time to catch up.
#orangeDipshit just wants to say, "50% tariff on everything", which would be a disaster (smart people on all sides know that).
There are many tariffs in place right now that have no complaint from anyone (and no one takes credit).
To address the issue properly takes too much explaining, and they say "when you're explaining you're losing."
@bryan It's not "the left", it's "the centrists".
People like the Clintons, Ron Kind, and many other DINOs who sucked up to corporate money to fund campaigns, abandoning their traditional voters.
What could go wrong?
The yard waste drop-off site shuts down Tuesday, so today was the last day I could find time to take a load before winter. Two years worth of brush got tied into a tight bundle, then loaded onto the #BikesAtWork trailer for the 1-mile trip to the brush site. #carryShitOlympics
Is it my imagination, or are the Bears wearing socks that look like they came from the Wicked Witch of the East? #NFL
T***p keeps demanding that Congress give up its oversight power.
There's an old name for a resolution that does that: The Enabling Act.
Look it up. It doesn't end well.
Another WTF moment in the Chippewa Valley hospital saga:
Aspirus Health plans to build a new hospital in the area. It would take at least 18 months.
There's a co-op effort to build a community owned hospital, which could take three years and cost $200million.
THERE'S A BIG EMPTY HOSPITAL BUILDING JUST WAITING TO BE MOVED INTO!!! But the scumbag corporate owners won't play ball with any new hospital effort.
Is it time for some sort of eminent domain to come into play? https://lacrossetribune.com/news/local/business/health-care/aspirus-chippewa-falls-hospital/article_0b5ece10-492d-5f34-9f2e-e61360137e8e.html
My take on why Dems lost: Since the Clinton years, there's been too much sucking up to the corporate teat, and not enough concern for working class voters. T***p *talked* about working class grievances (but has no intention to actually address them), and our party let him campaign on our turf.
Biden shared the stage with Bernie and won. Harris shared the stage with Liz Cheney and lost.
Robert Reich wrote the rant I want to write...

Resistance is no longer enough.
We need defiance, and THAT might not be enough. #resistance #defiance
