It's a local commuter train. After a few stops second class is almost full and first (16 seats at the extreme front) empty except for me.
Oh! I think I may be using up my previous bundle, meaning I have more data than I thought. I wish there was a way to verify that other than wait for the provider to text me.
Dear phone provider, how is 38,74 80% of 400? (8%, sure.)
I remember boat trains being packed! This one is almost empty. Travel has changed a lot since I last crossed the north sea on a ferry.
Videos of how this ferry is run are soooo Star Trek.
Must buy some Tetley's tea bags, of the plainest, to take along when travelling, because it SO wakes one up in the morning.
Also found the butter, now that I've eaten my toast.
This is a toaster. You put your bread in at the top and after a while (long enough for eggs and beans to cool to lukewarm) toast comes out at the bottom.
Ferry breakfast. I need another cup of tea, I think. And possibly more pineapple juice.
We should have left 15 minutes ago but I can only now feel the engines revving up. Very cute 3yo English girl is very excited, demanding that parents go outside with her.
Now we're getting emergency instructions like we're on a plane.
@onf I was trying to say I'll definitely try the emergency text app and affixed that to your other toot.
@onf oh wow yes! Will do when I have decent WiFi again (now on a ferry)
Ooh, there's the captain speaking. He's called Van der Zee "of the sea", very apt.
@suhono Will pray when I'm praying anyway.
@OldBrushNewPaper yes, I did. Only sliced and froze yesterday's bread at spouse's request because I have better bread-knife skills.
Eep that was a ferry announcement I missed completely. But it might just be "hey people we're sailing right now", because we are.
@cassolotl 2, 4, occasionally 3.
