@gavi I agree.
I think this person really stumbled on a core #HopePunk / #SolarPunk concept.
Hostile architecture is a symptom of the very system we have to fight.
@zeborah One person who mails me often's autocorrect is Helpful and turns my first name into "Urine" more often than not. I've told them to educate it, but it seems ineducable so the person is going to try to be more observant in the future.
@zeborah But to tenets! That's a new one for me.

Does anyone legit ever start an email with "I hope this message finds you well"? Every message I've ever had that started that way has been spam, or cold-email marketing.
@SilverEagle Note that #krita is not and will never be subscription-based.
Happy book birthday to Sophie Grace Chappell's new translation of Aeschylus's Agamemnon!

“The tragic fabric of Aeschylus’ Agamemnon is so richly woven and intertwined that a new translation which is both poetic and dramatic is always welcome. This one by Sophie Grace Chappell comes across with both strength and sensitivity.” Oliver Taplin, Professor of Classics, Oxford University

Language in the wild: "wealthy landlords [...] who leased the units to tenets in exchange for rent"
We get all excited about lunar eclipses because we only have the 1 moon. Saturn has 146 moons, and people there see moons casting shadows on the planet's surface every day just like clouds. Saturnians are like, yeah, it's a shadow, relax, Earth nerd.
