I was off Mastodon for a few days while I set up my new phone but I'm back and I missed being here ;)
I have an ebook with space for the entire written works of a thousand authors and it has one (1) modern DRM free book in it, a dozen DRM'd book that were almost all purchased in hospital waiting rooms, and healthy flow of library books.
As someone who believes in the value of governments as collective action, Reading about how the Doug Ford gov here in Ontario just took requests from land developers on what to open in the greenbelt, gave staff three weeks to review, then when their staff said it was a bad idea because of x, y and z the gov just said to ignore those letters..... It hurts.
DIYode Community Workshop is having a big moving/reopening party on August 19th and I won't be able to make it so you have to go have fun in my place.
