@adr because I lost my childhood paperwork I had to get a blood titre test for world that actually looked for antibodies and had to get some boosters. Can't remember exactly for what though.

For everyone who was wondering*, yes I would have qualified for the Canada Games in Fencing if my parents hadn't moved me to Ontario before the end of the qualifying tournament season. Épée.

At work this week we discussed a 6 year old scientific paper where they asked 15 colleagues how they thought AI was going to affect public health. Somehow it was up to me to point out just because someone said it would help with issue X didn't mean it actually would. These people were wrong, sometimes spectacularly.

@adr I love gambling, I've made tens of thousands. You just write to the Trillium Foundation and explain what community benefit you provide and they write you a cheque. Sometimes they say no, but I guess that's why they call it gambling...
