I do really like #posframe integration packages for #Emacs tho. Vertico, which-key, and stuff like `eldoc-box`.
Trying to use `transient-posframe` in #Emacs but keep getting errors...
Trying to learn #CommonLisp in a bit, let's hope stream doesn't break this time lol
Well, I got lucky today. Scheduled for mid morning tomorrow!
On an unrelated note, it's now snowing out. Might harbinge another freeze...
In my state the roads are covered in ice and snow for 2/3 of the year. You basically need studded tires to drive.
Studded tires are also illegal between May and August. There is a day every year when police come out in full force and fine every single person who hasn't gotten them changed yet. A few years ago I got caught unawares and paid $200 to the court system.
Now I'm trying to get an appointment with my local tire shop. I called yesterday, they said "we can only book 1 day in advance, try back at 8:00 in the morning".

@PacoVelobs I use left pinky for shift, left ringfing for Z, left middlefing for Q.
@zbecker thanks, adding it now!
@zbecker actually, it does even less! Basically just separates the minibuffer/echo-area into a separate window that gets hidden when not in use.
The application launcher I'm using is actually https://github.com/SebastienWae/app-launcher, tho frameworks like `helm` and `ivy` have alternatives built in.
@zbecker once you get settled down on #hyprland, try this #emacs package I wrote: https://git.mitchmarq42.xyz/mitch/hypop.el
Let me know what you think or if there's any problems (if you want). I've been using it for a while but haven't tested other setups.
@xenodium this was a very informative read, thank you!
@smeikx on Android, the Termux app adds a row on top of the system keyboard with ctrl, esc, etc. I'm using #Emacs w/ #EvilMode for notes there with no problems.
@zbecker oof. Good luck.
Hyprland is good
