@dave you mentioned recently the idea of <podcast:remoteItem> being the basis for other things… could this also be a solution to correlating entries in the person tag? I know @mitch has been looking for a solution to this and it dawned on me that referencing something instead of just having a free form name might help.

Props to @merryoscar for the way transcripts are implemented in #Fountain! It looks really good.
[ #podcasting #PodcastApp ]
I’ve been working off and on today to adapt the nice looking #polybar setup and all the various #rofi menus from @EndeavourOS’s #bspwm edition over to the #i3wm version. It’s really starting to take shape now.
@thatkruegergirl @woollyapp agreed, I always thought this was an app issue
#bspwm’s automatic placement of windows has made a really good initial impression when compared with how #i3wm requires me to be more actively involved with the placement. Granted I’ve only used it for a few minutes so far, but I’m impressed.
[ #Linux #TilingWM #WindowManager #WindowManagers ]
Last night I stumbled a #Linux distro called #Axyl that bills itself as being solely focused on tiling window managers… I think I’m going to check it out.
I installed @regolith desktop atop @pop_os_official tonight so that I could have an #i3wm session in addition to the default one. I’m pleasantly surprised at how nice it seems on first pass, though using it for work tomorrow will be the real test. For anyone wondering why I’d use a #RegolithLinux session instead of Pop’s tiling, it’s because I’ve found the it to be fairly buggy. I’m hoping the new #CosmicDE fixes this, but for now it’s as good a reason as any to try i3 out
