@notimetoplay My personal take is that masks are like distancing measures - one of many strategies aimed at reducing risk when people are unable to avoid circulation.

Requiring mask usage (as part of a suite of strategies) feels like part of a government taking responsibility and doing its job, but it would also be very nice if the populace here was more concious/willing to be sensible when governments don't step up to implement measures/support.

Hmm, I haven't seen this before on Steam.

Been working on a new FYOF option this morning for #HiveTime. It undermines the kind of experience I'd like players to have, but if players want to pursue something different, the option is there

@notimetoplay I guess it goes both ways so far as where the root cause lies for any given situation, but they seem so intrinsically intertwined in my mind.

@greypilgrim I don't think so. In my mind there's a vast difference between embracing cultural homogeneity and normalising being exposed enough to diverse cultures to enable appreciation at least some of their nuance.
